Police in County Durham have charged a mother with the murder her three year old child in Ushaw Moor.
Emergency services responded to a medical incident at an address in Bracken Court in Ushaw Moor on Saturday 5th November.
Christina Robinson aged 28 is due to appear at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates’ Court for the murder of her three-year-old son, Dwelianyah Robinson.
It comes after emergency services were called to a property in Bracken Court in Ushaw Moor on Saturday 5 November.
Dwelaniyah was taken by ambulance to the University Hospital of North Durham, but was sadly pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
Robinson will also face a charge of child neglect.
Durham Police said a police presence will remain at the scene today while enquiries are completed.
