Kirkintilloch: Police launch search for two wanted teens after woman seriously injured

Kirkintilloch Police have launched an appeal for find two wanted teens.

They are wanted after an assault took place at a property at Townhead, Kirkintilloch.

This incident happened on Thursday July 21st and at about 11.55pm and left the 41-year-old victim seriously injured.

Police are appealing for information after a woman was attacked at an address in Kirkintilloch.

The woman was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment where her condition remains unknown.

Officers have released the descriptions of two men, believed to be in their late teens, who were seen at the scene, in an effort to trace the men.

Both suspects had dark hair, with the first suspect wearing a dark jacket and shorts with a cap. The second suspect was wearing a light blue t-shirt.

Detective Inspector Kenneth McDonald said: “A woman sustained serious injuries as a result of this incident and we are asking anyone who may have seen the two men or have any information to get in touch.

“Anyone who was driving in the area at the time and may have dash-cam footage that could help with our enquiries is also asked to contact police.

“If you can assist officers then please call us on 101, quoting incident number 4315 of Thursday, 21 July, or make a call anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
