Fifteen fire engines and around 100 firefighters are on the scene if a fire on Electric Avenue in Brixton.
London Fire Brigade have confirmed that a three-storey warehouse building is well alight. It’s believed the unit is used to store items for the Brixton Market.

53 people called 999 to report the blaze with the first call being made at 8.58pm.

Fire Crews have been sent to the scene from Clapham, West Norwood, Peckham, Old Kent Road, Chelsea and other surrounding fire stations.

The cause of the fire is not known at this stage.
