Missing from Home Claire Kilpatrick

Police are concerned for the welfare of a 26-year-old woman who was last seen this morning. Claire Kilpatrick was last seen in Centre Square in Middlesbrough heading towards Albert Road at around 11.10am today. She is described as white, around 5ft 8” tall and of thin build with shoulder-length dark brown hair. She was last seen wearing a navy blue long-sleeved top, a brown sleeveless body warmer with a furry hood, light blue denim jeans and red pumps with diamantes on the top. She may have been carrying a small black handbag. It is believed that Claire may still be in the Middlesbrough area, however, she does have connections to the Redcar area. Police are concerned for her welfare and would ask Claire or anyone who may have seen her to get in touch with Cleveland Police on the non-emergency 101 number.

Man Injured in Unprovoked Assault

Police are appealing for witnesses following an unprovoked assault in Redcar. A 61-year-old man was out walking his dog on Coatham Common behind Redcar Leisure Centre at around 2.35pm on Saturday 9th November when he was approached by another man who attacked him in an unprovoked assault. The victim suffered a cut to his nose which required eight stitches, two black eyes and swelling and bruising to his head. The suspect, who was also walking a dog, is described as a white male, aged in his thirties, of stocky build and around 5ft 8” – 5ft 10” tall with short, dark hair. He was wearing a mustard coloured jacket which went to the top of his thighs and was walking a dark coloured dog, described as a long legged Staffordshire Bull Terrier type. After the incident the suspect ran off down an alleyway between Sea Breeze Fish Shop and All Saints Church on Lobster Road. Any witnesses to the incident or anyone who may know the identity of the suspect is asked to contact PC Shelly Mansell from Redcar Neighbourhood Policing Team on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Police Remind Public to be Vigilant at Cash Machines

Police are appealing for members of the public to be vigilant around cash machines after an incident was reported in which two men tried  to distract a man at a cash point in Hartlepool at around 7.15am on Monday 18th November 2013. The man was at Yorkshire Bank cash machine on Church Street, Hartlepool when he was approached by two males who stood either side of him and engaged him in conversation as he completed his transaction in an attempt to distract him. The man using the cash machine was vigilant and the two suspects left empty handed. The two suspects were described as Eastern European males aged in their thirties, both wearing jeans, woollen hats and one wearing a leather jacket. Police are warning members of the public to be cautious and to report any suspicious incidents on 101 or to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
