Missing Tommy Sandbach

Police are appealing to trace a Stockton man who has not been seen since last Thursday. 53-year-old Blaine Sandbach, known as Tommy, is described as around 5ft 10”tall, of slim build, with short, brown hair and a pale complexion. Tommy was last seen at around 2.30pm on Thursday 14th November, wearing a grey coat, blue jeans, a beanie hat and black trainers. He is known to frequent the Stockton town centre area and is known to have family in the Manchester area. Police would ask any one who may have seen him to contact Cleveland Police on 101.

Appeal After Potential Drink Spiking Incident

Police are appealing for information after a woman who reported concerns following a night out in Middlesbrough was found to have rohypnol in her system. The 41-year old woman was on a night out with friends on Saturday 9th November in Lloyds Bar when she was approached by two men on the dance floor area, one of whom made comments about rohypnol before the men went into the toilets. The victim and the group she was out with then left the bar. The victim returned home at around 3.20am and suffered side effects for the next three days before attending the University Hospital of North Tees, where a blood confirmed that rohypnol was present in her system. Although it is unknown exactly how the drug got into the victims’ system, police believe that her drink may have been spiked. Police would like to speak with the two men from Lloyds Bar as it is believed that they may be able to assist with enquiries. The first man is described as a white male, aged 30-40 years old, with short, dark hair, around 5ft 4” to 5ft 6” tall, of medium build with a distinctive mole on his left cheek. He was clean shaven with a clear complexion and was wearing a light coloured T-shirt. The second man is described as a white male, aged in his late twenties with mousey brown hair, around 6ft tall and of slim build with a clear complexion. Anyone with information is asked to contact Major Crime Detective, DC Richard  Brocklesby, on the non-emergency 101 number or  Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Police Remind Public to be Vigilant at Cash Machines

Police are appealing for members of the public to be vigilant around cash machines after an incident was reported in which two men tried  to distract a man at a cash point in Hartlepool at around 7.15am on Monday 18th November 2013. The man was at Yorkshire Bank cash machine on Church Street, Hartlepool when he was approached by two males who stood either side of him and engaged him in conversation as he completed his transaction in an attempt to distract him. The man using the cash machine was vigilant and the two suspects left empty handed. The two suspects were described as Eastern European males aged in their thirties, both wearing jeans, woollen hats and one wearing a leather jacket. Police are warning members of the public to be cautious and to report any suspicious incidents on 101 or to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
