Covid-19: Three Households could be allowed to meet together over Christmas according to plans being discussed.

The plans will allow three households to meet together over Christmas underplays being discussed by all of the four nations.

It is suggested that households will be able to form exclusive Christmas bubbles and travel restrictions will be lifted from 23rd to the 27th December to enable families to come together for Christmas.

it is also believed that overnight stays will be relaxed during these dates to enable families to celebrate Christmas together.

  • The details have not yet been signed off by the government however speaking at the Downing Street News conference on Monday, Prime Minister Boris Johnson warned: “‘Tis the season to be jolly, but ’tis also the season to be jolly careful.” while warning “Christmas cannot be normal” this year and told people to “make a careful judgement about the risk of visiting elderly relatives” over the upcoming festive period.
