Boris Johnson self-isolating after meeting with MP who tested positive for COVID-19

Boris Johnson is this evening self-isolating after the NHS Test and Trace informed him he had been into contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 it has been confirmed.

The prime minster will be following the rules and self-isolating in Downing Street where he will continue to work.

The Prime Minister’s spokesman has confirmed: “The PM is well and does not have any symptoms of COVID-19”.

The Prime Minister has held a meeting lasting about 35 minutes with some fellow MPs in Number 10, One of those MP’s was Lee Anderson who has developed symptoms of COVID-19 and tested positive.
