Emergency Services are dealing with a major incident in Bolton. It is believed a child under the age of 10 has been stabbed.
Five Ambulances attended the scene with the area placed on lockdown while armed searches are underway.
The incident happened on Bridgeman Street in Great lever.
Although it is currently unconfirmed if the child has been stabbed the North West Ambulance Service confirmed an Air Ambulance and Crews were sent to the scene.
Confirming they’d “treated one patient and took a child under the age of ten to Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital. They confirmed the child was alert when they attended.”
