Police Officers and Police horses have come under attack while policing what is supposed to be a peaceful protest for Black Lives Matter in London.

A moment of violence erupted in London after a number of Black Lives Matter Protesters clashed with police throwing bottles and a bike.

One officer was unseated from his horse resulting in an injury to him and the horse.

Today’s protest has been largely peaceful day of demonstrations which is to raise the issue of injustice across the UK following the killing of George Floyd in the US

What is Black Lives Matter?

Black Lives Matter (BLM) is an international human rights movement, originating from within the African-American community, which campaigns against violence and systemic racism towards black people.

BLM regularly holds protests speaking out against policy brutality and police killings of black people, and broader issues such as racial profiling, and racial inequality

Police Horse attacked in an attempt to unseat officer during moments of violence.

A video released on Twitter shows a pedal bike being thrown into the side of a horse in an attempt to force the officer from the horse.

Within another video, a police officer falls from his horse as protestors celebrate.

During our coverage of the protest, Police Hour have been called racist and fake news because apparently the images and videos we share are not real.

Because we have provided balanced coverage of the events happening.

A number of officers have been hurt along with police horses.

It is believed the horse returned to a point of safety however the condition of the Police Officer is currently unknown.
