Police are dealing with an ongoing incident in Reading.

Details are emerging across social media which suggests there has been multiple stabbings.

Police and paramedics are on the scene assisting those involved within the incident.

Police dealing with serious incident following Black Lives Matter Protest in Reading 1

Thames Valley Police are dealing with an “incident” at the site where Black Lives Matter protests have been taking place in Reading.

The force tweeted: “We are aware of reports of an incident in Forbury Gardens, Reading. Officers are on the scene and investigating the incident.”

The leader of Reading Council, Councillor Jason Brock, tweeted: “Concerning reports from Reading town centre – please stay clear of the area as Police are dealing with a serious incident.”

Police Have not yet confirmed if this is being treat as a terror related incident.
