Maria was taken to hospital after she suffered a fall.

She is a 93-year-old great-grandmother and she is now preparing to see her family again for the first time in six weeks after testing positive for coronavirus.

Maria Konarska who is from Sully has successfully recovered from Coronavirus after being admitted to the Llandough Hospital on March 23.

Her family feared the worst due to Maria age but she has defied the odds and recovered.

Maria was taken to the hospital by ambulance after she suffered a fall and triggered her monitored alarm.

Paramedics believed she was suffering the symptoms of Coronavirus when she arrived at the hospital she tested positive.
