Policing with compassion incredibly warm-hearted police officer goes out and gets some shopping while responding to a welfare check.

Officers bought some essential items to help him out during the Coronavirus outbreak. It warms our hearts.

For us this is the image that should define policing in the UK today. This positive image of a police officer carrying shopping into a man who is self-isolating after concerned neighbours could not get an answer at the door.

Poole Police Tweeted “Officers were called to check on a vulnerable man at home after neighbours could not get an answer at the door. Luckily the man was safe and isolating but unable to get out to do shopping.

“The officers bought some essentials for him and referred him to partner agencies. #PC2977″

Stay positive because amazing things are happening within communities in the midst of this awful coronavirus outbreak.
