Coronavirus: NHS Frontline Doctor has died after testing Positive

A Doctor working on the frontline has died after testing positive for Coronavirus.

The NHS consultant is believed to have contracted coronavirus while working on the frontline.

Amged El-Hawrani sadly died at the Leicester Royal Infirmary on Saturday night, The Hospitals of Derby and Burton have confirmed.

Tragically the number of people with the UK who have died from Coronavirus has risen by 207 in the last 24 hours,

The Department of Health said 1,228 people had died across the UK but NHS England then released a higher figure for the country.

There are now 19,522 people now have Coronavirus in the UK
