70 million in US set for lockdown Gov says they’ll be allowed out allowed out to buy food, medicine and exercise.

America looks like they are set to lock down 70 million people as the US is set to be put on lockdown. The Gov is attempting to get a grip on the coronavirus outbreak.

California, America’s largest state with a population of 40 million is already on Lockdown since Friday but the Gov are now looking to lockdown New York and Illinois.

They will largely restrict residents to their homes over the weekend.

The American hospitals are already starting to feel the effects of Covid-19 with officials now moving quickly to prevent what has happened in China, Italy and Spain.

Across the world 275K cases have been confirmed, while 11K deaths have been recorded across the world but 90K people worldwide have recovered.

The new lockdown in the US will happen in Illinois on Saturday and then in New York on Sunday.

It is then believed the US lockdown will move onto Connecticut and Oregon as they prepare for Coronavirus to sweep across the states.

All workers in non-essential business will be forced to stay at home and all gatherings of any size will be banned.

They will only be allowed out to buy food, medicine and to exercise.

Meanwhile in the UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced that all pubs, clubs, cafes, restaurants and gyms would be closed until further notice.
