Police have launched an urgent appeal to find missing Kent firefighter Anthony Knott who has been missing since December 20th.

The firefighter had been on a bar crawl in Lewes, East Sussex and was last seen at the Lamb pub.

At the time of his disappearance, He had been out with eleven London Fire Brigade work colleagues.

Officers continued the search into boxing day with his fiancee Lucy Otto saying she “won’t rest until i know what’s happened to you”.

Police and search teams have been searching over Christmas for the missing firefighter have turned their attention to an outdoor swimming pool and a river.

Anthony Knott, a father of four from Orpington, Kent, disappeared after being separated from friends at around 7.30pm on Friday 20 December.

Police have no information to suggest he had left the area.

Specialist teams were due to remain in the town on Boxing Day to search the freshwater Pells Pool and the Pellbrook Cut river nearby.

Lucy Otto, Mr Knott’s fiancee, said on Thursday she was “coming to search for you again today”.

“I won’t rest until I know what’s happened to you,” she wrote in a post urging anyone with information to come forward.

“PLEASE someone must know or have seen something!”

Detective Chief Inspector Alasdair Henry admitted he was “growing increasingly concerned” about Mr Knott’s welfare.

He said: “We are extremely grateful for everyone’s support and we continue to appeal to anyone with any information about Anthony’s disappearance to please come forward.

“This remains a very difficult time for Anthony’s family and friends, and we are seeking the information and answers they so desperately need.”

Mr Knott is white, approximately 6ft and of medium build, with medium-brown, short gelled hair.

He was last seen wearing a black long-sleeve top, a dark denim suit-style jacket, dark denim jeans and black shoes.
