A British woman who is hoping to return to London after marrying a ISIS Fighter has given birth to a baby boy in Syria.

Shamima Begum aged 19 fled the UK, to join ISIS and turn against her own country.

Now she is hoping she can be allowed to return to the UK, after she has given birth to her baby boy.

A statement has now been released by the family’s lawyer Tasnime Akunjee “We the family of Shamima Begum have been informed that Shamima has given birth to her child, we understand both she and the baby are in good health.

“As yet we have not had direct contact with Shamima, we are hoping to establish communications with her soon so that we can verify the above.”

Begum’s family who is in London have pleaded with the UK people and government for compassion and to enable to the safe return of their daughter to the UK.

Begum fled the UK in 2015 and travelled to Syria where she then married a Dutch ISIS fighter named Yago Riedijk but they have been separated as the terrorist group loses ground.

Begum who is a security risk to the UK is currently living on Al-Hol a refugee camp, she does not regret leaving London but because of her current circumstances wants to return home.

She believes she will face an investigation when she is home but believes she won’t face prison.

In a statement she has said “I’m scared this baby is going to get sick in this camp. That’s why I really want to get back to Britain. Because I know it will be taken care of, health wise at least.”
