Police Hour published content headlined Urgent National Frozen veg recall after nine dead on February 1st 2019 Police Hour amended the content of this article after accepting this information could be deemed as misinformation.
This content was originally published on the 6th July 2018 and amended on February 1st 2019 following a review of the content.
We amended the content to state that these nine deaths had not occurred within the UK. Police Hour accepts that the editorial team should have ensured this was clear within the initial content as it would never be our intention to publish content that would mislead the public.
This content was published with good intentions to ensure veg with a certain batch code was check and disposed of as they may have been at risk of containing listeria.
We accept this is the case and have ensured this content has been amended.
