An utterly disgraceful video has been released on social media which shows a model of Grenfell Tower.

These people have brought shame to our country. Have some respect for the victims, the families and emergency services workers who have been left traumatised by these utterly tragic events.

Police have now confirmed they are reviewing the incident as a possible hate crime.

With pictures of people burning thrown on to a bonfire.

The footages show a group of idiots holding a cardboard effigy of the West London apartment block.

Hundreds of people were killed when Grenfell tower caught fire in June last year.

The model showed cutouts of people peering out of windows and dangling them from the top floor.

The prime minister tweeted: “To disrespect those who lost their lives at Grenfell Tower, as well as their families and loved ones, is utterly unacceptable.”

During the video, the group can be heard laughing and screaming help me help me.

One member of the group jokes if they should have started the fire upside down because the fire started on the 10th floor.

Then shouts “jump out the window” while a second person relays the advice of firefighters telling them to “stay in your flats”.

Scotland Yard says its Grenfell Tower investigation team is “taking this matter very seriously”, adding: “Any offences that have been committed will be fully investigated.”

Commander Stuart Cundy said: “I am frankly appalled by the callous nature of the video posted online.

“So many people lost so many loved ones, and many more have been deeply affected. To mock that disaster in such a crude way is vile.

Due to the nature of the video Police Hour has taken the editorial decision not to re-broadcast the video.

It is utterly disgraceful and those involved in this video should be uttlery ashamed of themselves.
