‬‬Community Group called Friends of Paddy Freeman Park raised £10,000 to install a climbing frame after pulling together and months and months of hard work the groups finally installed the climbing frame on Monday for it to be destroyed this weekend by vandals.

Northumbria Police are appealing for witnesses after reports of damage to a climbing frame in at a park in Newcastle.

A ‘pirate ship’ climbing frame was unveiled at Paddy Freeman Park, Newcastle on Thursday March 29, and was damaged that night. The climbing frame had only been installed on Monday March 26, after £10,000 was raised by Friends of Paddy Freeman Park to purchase it.
