Police are responding to reports of an active shooter at YouTube.
Members of the YouTube team have confirmed they are barricaded within a room.

The headquarters is located in San Bruno, Northern California.

Ambulances and police are at the scene with police warning members of the public to stay away from the area.
Google has confirmed that there is an ongoing gunfire incident at the YouTube complex.
The incident is believed to be an active shooter but this has not been confirmed.
A member of YouTube staff member Vadim Lavrusik a product manager for YouTube Live, tweeted that they are currently barricaded within a room within the building.
Active shooter at YouTube HQ. Heard shots and saw people running while at my desk. Now barricaded inside a room with coworkers.

Dan Afergan a software engineer tweeted that an active shooter was inside YouTube.

Dan managed to run out of the building with Vadim tweeting that he was now safe.
Safe. Got evacuated it. Outside now.
