Urgent appeal for missing 17-year-old girl from Cannock believed to be with 45-year-old man

police are becoming increasingly concerned about the welfare of a 17-year-old girl who has gone missing from Cannock.

We believe Jessica Roe is with 45-year-old Stuart Lymer from Uttoxeter. He is now wanted in connection with the disappearance of Jessica due to her age.

Jessica was last seen at 1pm on Friday (2 March) when it is believed she got into a van with Lymer at Tesco in Heath Hayes, Cannock. The van has since been found on a car park in Stafford. Enquiries are ongoing to establish where they travelled to afterwards.

Detective Inspector Alan Lyford said: “We have genuine concerns for Jessica’s safety, particularly whilst she is in the company of Lymer. There is no suggestion that Jessica was forcibly taken, however we need to bring her home to ensure she is safe.”

Jessica is described as white, 5ft 2 and of medium build. She has brown eyes and short black hair. Please note that Jessica’s hair is darker and shorter than in the photo. She was last seen wearing a black coat and black trousers.

Anyone who has seen Jessica or Stuart or anyone who has any information about their whereabouts is urged to call Staffordshire Police immediately on 101 quoting incident number 696 of 2 March. Alternatively call independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
