Firefighters responded very quickly to a taxi fire in Crook. Battling through built up from traffic and the icy snow covered roads.
Darlington & County Durham Fire Service received reports of a Mini bus fire on the main route that connects Crook and Stanley in County Durham.
With houses and cars parked close by it was feared the fire could quickly spread, during the video the van can be clearly heard hissing sparking fears the van was going to go up.
The fire broke out just before 6pm and Fire Fighters quickly responded to the incident.
The road was closed for 30 minutes while fire fighters dealt with the fire.
It is believed the fire is not suspicious and no one was injured within the incident.
