Prime Minister Theresa May has been called out by Dame Vera Baird, the Police and Crime Commissioner for Northumbria Police after she ignores the hard working police again.

As The Prime Minster Theresa May headed to Newcastle today Thursday 29th March, It is believed she once again passed the hard working police officers and police staff of Northumbria Police Dame Vera Baird has said.

But apparently it’s not the first time Theresa May has ingorned the Northumbria Officers back when Theresa May was Home Secretary, she visited Berwick upon Tweed and made no personal contact with any police officers or staff.

Dame Vera Baird, Police and Crime Commissioner said “Following yesterday’s debate on police funding in Parliament, the Prime Minister heard first hand from MPs how the thin blue line has nearly snapped  – it would have been great for her to show her appreciation to our hard working Northumbria Police officers and staff. But she’s failed again.”

Dame Vera added “My long standing invitation to Theresa May to see the excellent initiatives police officers and staff are working on still stands – let’s hope one day she’ll show her appreciation for the great work happening at Northumbria Police.”
