Jon Venables the killer of toddler James Bugler has today admitted having indecent images of children.

Venables was released from jail on licence in 2001 after serving just eight years in prison for the murder of two year old James Bulger.

Venables was returned to prison in November after being caught with child porn images.

He appear via video link at a hearing at the Old Bailey in London, he pleaded guilty to having indecent images of children and possessing a paedophile manual.

Venables admitted having 392 category A images, 148 category B images and 630 category C pictures.

Venables and his friend Robert Thompson tortured and killed poor James in Liverpool in 1993.

Both boys were aged just 10 when they murdered him.
