A Woman disturbed burglars in her living room who then pulled a knife on her and made threats towards her before taking her car keys and making off with her car.

The victim has been left shaken following the horrific ordeal in her own home, these thugs must be caught.

Police are appealing for information after a robbery at an address on Cedar Road in Marton, Middlesbrough.

At around 7.20pm yesterday evening, Thursday 28th December, two men entered a property on Cedar Road and took the keys to a silver Vauxhall Zafira. 

The suspects were disturbed by a woman living at the address, who was then threatened with a knife. Thankfully the woman was uninjured.

The men then made off in the stolen car, which was later recovered by police.

The first suspect is described as a white male, aged in his early twenties, of thin build with a pale complexion, around 6ft tall and wearing dark clothing.

The second suspect is described as a white male aged in his late teens, of slim build, around 5ft 9” tall and wearing dark clothing.

Officers would appeal for anyone with private CCTV in the area to check their cameras for any footage which may assist their investigation.
