Five people have been killed including three children after a stolen car crashed into a tree near Leeds.

Police have arrested two boys ages 15 over the crash which happened on Stonegate Road in Meanwood at 9.54am on Saturday.

The crash involved a Ranault Clio.

Sadly the youngest victim is aged just 12 years old while two others are aged 15 and a 24 and 28 year old man were all killed.

Stonegate Road will remain close for most of Sunday.

West Yorkshire Police have now launched a major crash investigation.
