A man has been detained after a car mounted the pavement, hitting pedestrians, near the Natural History Museum in London.
Officers from the Met Police acted quickly and arrested the driver. A number of people are reported to have been hurt during the incident.

Brave members of the public quickly grabbed hold of the man who was held to the ground with a bloodied face.
It is believed that members of the public stepped in and dragged him from the car.
