Sadly two five-month old babies have tragically died in what police believe was a “tragic accident”.
Police say that the two children were two of three triplets were found not breathing at their home in the Wildmill area of Bridgend, South Wales.
Emergency Services responded to an incident at 10am on Saturday morning (Sat 23rd September 2017) the babies were rushed to hospital but both were pronounced dead.
South Wales Police believe there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of the two babies.
Police are now investigating to see if sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) known as cot death was the reason for the deaths.
South Wales Police spokesperson confirmed the incident “The five-month-old children were conveyed to hospital where tragically they were later pronounced deceased.”
“There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the deaths which are being treated as a tragic accident.”
