Not so long ago Police Constable Edward Walker aka Eddy set off on his travels with the support of Durham Constabulary.

Since then there has been no stopping him he has managed to stop off at Northumbria Police and he is currently within the Cleveland Police area.

He’s starting to get a little name for himself within the policing community and everyone simply cannot wait for Eddy to turn up and work with them. After all, it’s about raising awareness and donations for Cops.

It’s been an epic couple of weeks, he managed to run the Great North Run on Horse back and he even grabbed some camera time with the Police Interceptors. There is no stopping Eddy.

Highlights of the next leg of the Tour

Eddy has been chilling with some local policing celebs in the world of policing, especially if you love the Police Interceptors.

Spending the night hoping to get some screen time with Road Policing officer Spike.

Spike was onto Eddy’s plans and he was thrown into the cell. All he wanted was some one to one screen time.

He was released and back on patrol, Spike gave Eddy another chance as long as he didn’t highjack the Police Interceptors program he was allowed to ride shot gun.

Eddy headed to Durham Train Station and Newcastle Central Station and couldn’t pass off the opportunity for a photo with the British Transport Police.

Eddy had a big day ahead as he prepared to take on the Cops 30 Miler.

After that, he was on to the Great North Run where he decided to spend some time with the Northumbria Police Mounted Unit, there was no sign of any running in Eddy, He clearly had the best seat and was not giving that one up.

Instead of running Eddy watched over the start of the race in hope he would spot Julia Berry. Not exactly what we had planned.

After a lift to the finish in record time, Eddy then decided he would spend some time with the firearms unit.

Finally, he was off to the Cleveland Police Road Policing Unit, He knew after getting locked up by Spike this was his last opportunity to grab his screen time, He only managed to secure an interview with Police Interceptors.

Where is Eddy now? Who knows we have a feeling we won’t be waiting much longer before he pops up.

Why the tour?

Eddy was sent on his travels so that we could raise further awareness and funds for COPS Charity, We wanted a creative way to have some fun and along the way raise some money for a good cause.

UK Cops are dedicated to helping the families of police officers who have lost their lives in relation to their duty, to rebuild their lives and we wanted to do our little bit.

Julia Berry has been doing running lately and wanted to use her running to raise money for her chosen charity.

She has already taken on the Cops 30 Miler, The Great North Run, ending at the Birmingham International Marathon.
