Spanish police believe a terrorist planning to attack Barcelona accidentally killed himself while making a bomb.

Police reported an explosion happened at a house in Catalonia which killed one person has been linked the terror attack in Barcelona. It is believed one terrorist accidentally killed himself while making a bomb the day before the terror attacks.

The explosion happened 24 hours before the attack in Barcelona with the explosion completely flattening the house.

The cause of the explosion was Butane Gas but the level of gad found was beyond the normal level of use.

Police are treating the incident as attempting to create a large bomb to be used in an attack and it is believed that attack was going to be used in the Barcelona attack.

A number of police and firefighters were hurt during the incident.

Our thoughts are with everyone who has been directly impacted with the Barcelona Terror Attacks.
