Ongoing Armed Incident at Ibis Hotel Salford after reports ‘car runs over child at least twice’ in car park

Armed Police have responded to what is being described as an ongoing incident in Manchester.

Police have confirmed they are dealing with a tragic incident involving a young child. 

A large number of emergency services can be seen at the Ibis hotel after reports that a ‘baby was hit by a car’

Armed police have entered the hotel in Salford Quays and three ambulances and 15 police cars are on the scene. 

an eye witness who does not wish to be named has told PoliceHour.co.uk “someone hit a young child with their black car twice in the car park 

“Moments later a women was heard shouting and screaming at the driver hysterically and he child who was hit twice was crying”.

The hotel has refused to comment.
