Nursery worker was beaten and stabbed by three girls ‘shouting about Allah’

A nursery worker was this morning beaten up and stabbed by three girls as she walked to work in East London.

Police say the woman in her 30s was walking from Wanstead station to Little Diamonds Nursery when she was attacked from behind at 9.30am.

The girls began a violent attack on the woman punching and kicking her then one of the girls pulled a knife out and stabbed her.

During the attack, the girls were “chanting the Koran” and “shouting about Allah”.

Police have been quick to say the incident is not being treated as terror-related, No one has been arrested in relation to the incident

The victim was taken to hospital with a stab wound her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.


A Met spokesman added: “The Met’s Counter Terrorism Command has been made aware of the incident but is not investigating at this time.”
