Police are appealing for information after a telescope, a tri pod and a camera were stolen from the garden of a property on Newcomen Green in Middlesbrough.

The incident occurred just after 12pm on Tuesday 9th May into this morning, Wednesday 10th May.

It is believed that the victim had set the equipment up in the garden and went back into his house to make a drink. When he returned, the items had gone.

The telescope is orange in colour, the tri pod is silver and the camera is Panasonic and is pink in colour.

Anyone who may have been offered the items for sale or anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact PC Maggie McDonald on the non-emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
