13 year old boy arrested after arson attack on Hartlepool Primary School

Police have arrested a Boy, 13, on suspicion of arson after huge blaze at Rift House Primary School, Hartlepool

Cleveland Police confirmed the boy who cannot be named for legal reasons was arrested on suspicion of arson this morning (Tuesday 9th May) following a fire at Rift House Primary School on Sunday (7th May).

He is currently being questioned by detectives from Hartlepool Volume Crime Team and inquiries into the incident are on-going.

Police would still appeal for anyone with information to phone 101 or pass information anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers via their website www.crimestoppers-uk.org or by phoning 0800 555 111.
