Police Car attacked as officers search for missing person

A Police car involved in the search for a missing person was deliberately damaged in the early hours of Friday, 28 April.

The incident happened on London Road, Wellingborough, while the car was parked on the bridge over the Embankment.

The act of vandalism meant officers had to be taken away from an investigation to help find a missing person.

The police car which normally responds to 999 calls will now be off the road for a number days taking away vital resources to the Wellingborough community.
