12 people have been burnt from a suspected “noxious substance” inside a London nightclub.

600 people were evacuated from the club in Dalston in the early hours of Bank Holiday Monday.

Emergency services – including a hazardous area response team – were dispatched shortly after 1am and required to treat several patients.

“At least one person” was carried off on a stretcher, according to witnesses.
London Ambulance Service (LAS) said it transported 10 patients to hospital, while another two later presented themselves at an east London hospital.
The injuries are all believed to be non life-threatening.
