Donna Willis has absconded prison, members of the public are advised she should not be approached.
Northumbria Police are now searching for Willis who is serving five-year sentence following her conviction at Newcastle Crown Court for grievous bodily harm.
She absconded from HMP Askham Grange, near York, on 19 April 2017.
Police believe Willis may have travelled north, and enquiries are largely focused around the Northumbria area.
She is described as white, 5ft 2ins tall and a slim build, with blonde and brown hair. She is originally from the Tyne and Wear area.
Anyone with information about Willis’s whereabouts are urged not to approach her but to contact Northumbria Police on 101, or dial 999 if the sighting is immediate
