Teenage girl found dead in Rotherham 20 minutes after she was reported missing to police. It is claimed that she had gone to meet a strange man on a dating site.

less than half an hour later police found her body on an isolated footpath.

Named Leonne Weeks aged just 16 years-old officers confirmed the horrific news that her body had been found on a footpath near Rotherham.

Officers were alerted to a body found in Dinngton, South Yorkshire are 10.55am officers are treating her death as suspicious.

Detectives have said that they have “concerns around the state of the body and the injuries” They found on her body 20 minutes after she was reported missing.

South Yorkshire Poice declared the area of Lordens Hill a crime scene. Forensic officers have been conducting an examination there all day.
