500 lantern have been released for Bradley Lowery over the skies of Hartlepool. The Hartlepool community came together for Bradley who was told he only has two months left to live.
An appeal was launched for Bradley Lowery to receive as many Christmas cards as possible. He has now received over 28K cards.
His parents wish he get’s as many cards as possible and as this is Bradley’s final Christmas wish.
Terminally ill Bradley is a big Sunderland fan and was walked out during the Chelsea football match and scored a goal against Asmir Begovic.

Bradley mum wrote on Facebook “Can I just say up to now the response has been immense and we can’t thank everyone enough for your kind words.
“We look forward to reading your kind words with Brad and the gifts and money he has received is fantastic.
“We want to say a huge thank you to you all for helping make Bradley’s Christmas the most memorable ever.”
Bradley will now make a guest appearance at the BBC Sports Personality of the Year awards tonight.
