Croydon Five hurt and 40 injured after tram overturns in tunnel

Met Police have confirmed that 5 people are trapped and 40 hurts after a tram overturned in a tunnel in Croydon.

The incident, involving a two-car vehicle, happened in a tunnel in south London, a Transport for London spokesperson said.
Met Police said they were called to the scene at Sandilands tram stop in Croydon at around 6.10am.
