Shocking footage has re-surfaced showing the moment that a British man attacked three police officers at an airport in Germany.
The footages surfaced on Social media again with people saying he attacked the cops after he touched his wife at Birmingham Airport. These are not true. This could be because he shouts “I am a British citizen” before launching the attack.
But the purpose of this article is to dispell the hoax that it has happened at Birmingham Airport this week. The footage which was actually filmed in July was all over delayed flights. The man confronts police officers at Frankfurt Airport in Germany before attacking them.
It is also being suggested the man’s wife was touched and tasered by police if this is true why has the man not been tasered as well?. The Telegraph reported at the time that he became angry after his wife was knocked to the ground.
They reported that “The confrontation began after a woman believed to be travelling with him fell over at security. It is thought that the man lashed out after complaining about flights”.
The man kicks and punches the three people officers in footage that was filmed on July 23rd.
The fight was over delayed flights which were then cancelled for his journey back home. Thousands of travellers were impacted by bad weather which forced the cancellation of the flight out of Frankfurt Aiport.
A Frankfurt Police spokesperson said: “Due to the bad weather in the night from Friday to Saturday flights were cancelled. Several thousand passengers were stranded at the airport. A 38-year-old English passenger (who wanted to fly to England) was at the info desk and verbally attacked an airline employee.
“In addition, members of the federal police attempted to calm the situation down. Unfortunately without success – it suddenly came to a physical confrontation of colleagues with the passenger, as seen in the video.
“The colleagues and the passenger were slightly injured. Frankfurt police are investigating the English passenger over an alleged assault.”
