Cleveland Police has launched an investigation after a seven-year-old was approached and grabbed in Middlesbrough.

Police say the incident happened at 4.30pm on Thursday, September 15th on Ormesby Road.

The seven-year-old was grabbed by his shoulder before being released when another child came along. The man then ran off along Ormesby Road.

The man is described as black, aged in his forties, wearing a white T-shirt, with a red emblem on the front and writing on the back, black tracksuit bottoms or jeans and white, red and grey Nike huarache style trainers.
