Police searching for missing 14-year-old teenager Kelsey Bodman are increasingly becoming fearful for her safety.
Kelsey was last seen wearing her PE kit last Thursday. She has not been seen since.
Officers have now stepped up search for Kelsey who safety is of great concern to officers investigating her disappearance.
Her last confirmed sighting was at Asda in Wrexham on Thursday and the last time Kelsey was seen was on the Kingsmill Road.
Det Insp Arwyn Jones who is leading the investigation said: “We are becoming more and more concerned for the welfare of Kelsey.
“She has been missing for over 48 hours and has not made contact with any of her close friends or family in that time. Considerable resources are employed on this enquiry, and detectives are currently speaking with her close friends.
“Locating Kelsey safe and well is our priority. Kelsey’s family too are understandably deeply concerned as to her safety and whereabouts.
“I would ask anyone who may have spoken or seen Kelsey over the last 48 hrs, or who has any information that may assist in locating her to contact 101.”
Officers have now ruled out a White Audi from their enquiries. Kelsey who attends The Maelor School in Penley was last seen wearing a cropped Adidas top, black leggings, white trainers and a green bomber jacket.
