A young lad has sadly died in Grangetown following a serious collision.

Emergency services scrambled to the scene on Birchington Road in Grangetown at about 8pm on August 14th following reports of a collision between a motorbike and a car near to the Magnet roundabout.

The Great North Air Ambulance attended the incident.

Birchington Road is expected to be closed for a number of hours while police carry out their investigations.
