Shocking footage has been released of Police Scotland officers coming under attack.

What makes the incident more shocking is members of the public just stand around and record the incident.

Although the video evidence will make good evidence to convict the offender on the flip side it would have been nice if the officers were supported by members of the public to overpower the individual and prevent the officers from further attack.
