A seruous bus crash has shut the A182 in Seaham. Roads around the area will be a little busier as people leave work within the next hour.

The Indgo bus involved within the incident route connected Durham, Sunderland and Newcastle.

Police advice is to avoid the area as it’ll be shut for a number of hours.

It is on the main route that connects Seaham to the A19 towards Teesside.

It is believed 4 people have been taken to hospital one is in a serious condition and was airlifted.
