Hartlepool Knife point robbery victim placed in a taxi and items stolen from his home address

A man has been threatened with a knife then forced to get a taxi to his home address and had items taken from his home in Hartlepool.

Officers are investigating the incident which happened outside Tesco Express in Throston, Hartlepool.

The victim was threatened with a knife before getting a taxi yo his home address before items were stolen.

The incident happened between 2130 – 2200 hours on Bank Holiday Monday. (29th August 2016).

Police are appealing to trace the taxi driver that may be a key witness. Also police would like to speak to anyone else with any information about this incident to contact DC 1755 Clark on 101.
