Police have this evening been searching Front Street Kelloe just 12 miles away Langley Park Following the Murder of 32 year old Dale Arnold, of School Avenue, Durham.

Police said Dale died of stab wounds in the James Cook Hospital in Middlesbrough, a short time after being taken there by ambulance.

Police have this evening searched bushes and plant pots for a possible discarded evidence in relation to the murder investigation.

The man leading the investigation, Detective Superintendent Paul Goundry, said: “Mr Arnold has tragically lost his life in a County Durham village street in the middle of the afternoon.

“Our enquiries reveal that a man was involved in an altercation with him shortly before 2pm yesterday and we are keen to trace him.”
Enquires are continuing in Kelloe, Coxhoe and surrounding areas.
Get Supt Goundry added: “We do not believe the man we are looking for poses a risk to the wider community but would ask anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact us as a matter of urgency.”
