Police shut down £270k drugs farm in Redcar

Cleveland Police have shut down a £270k Drugs farm at a house in Hardale Grove in Redcar.

Officers went to the address after a call by a member of the public and  found what’s believed to be around 650 large cannabis plants which have an estimated street value of over £270, 000.
The scene has been preserved overnight and Scenes of Crime Officers are attending today while we continue to trace any occupants from the address. Anyone with information which could help police is asked to contact us on 101.
