Ladies have their day as Durham Miners Gala ends in street fights. Police Officers faced scenes of women fighting in Durham City Centre.
This time it’s not the men fighting it’s all about the women. Very little violence between men broke out at this years gala.

Police officers were dealing with another fight between a group of women when another fight broke out right in front of the officers.

The women managed to show themselves up as a number of fights broke out at the Durham Bus station.
Police made no arrests and allowed those involved in the fighting to go on there way as long as that was home.
